Presenting IOS is pure pleasure. Our Research & Development department really got it right with IOS. We have named it IOS for good reason – after the Greek island IOS – the island of love, because those who know what IOS can do will fall helplessly in love with it.
IOS is the lightest cover-making product ever made. It weights only 150gr/sqm. It is incredibly durable as it has a tear-resistance equal to that of a material weighing three times more.
Thanks to its unique make-up, if pierced IOS will repair itself. Laboratory tests prove that IOS is water-proof up to 1.6 metres of water column and once stitched the seam will remain water-proof up to 160mm of water column.
IOS is a serious “competitor” for all the cover-making products in PVC (ugly, heavy, dusty and polluting), which must be welded to avoid water permeations. IOS repels dirt. It does not mildew! It repels water and acid rain (acid does not damage it), it does not burn nor does it mark if a lighted cigarette is dropped on it.
IOS is easily matched to personal colour preferences, only 1000mt is needed to produce it to suit a client’s colour preference. IOS is currently available in four elegant colours: white, cream, grey and navy blue. IOS does not abrade surfaces and has a high resistance to abrasion. It has superior fade resistance when exposed to UV light.
IOS protects from UVA and UVB damage. In darker colours, its level of UPF protection reaches approximately 80%.
IOS takes up very little space. In places where space is limited and a multitude of covers need to be positioned and removed on a daily basis, IOS is a an invaluable partner.
Almost everything can be covered in IOS, from stowed items to goods in movement, from objects exposed to strong winds to those exposed to strong sunlight.
Once IOS has been tried it will undoubtedly become the favourite partner for those who work with it and those who use it on a daily basis.
